The Binatone Caprice 600 is a superb phone for the home or office featuring a massive 120 name and number phonebook, Last number redial with 99 number call log, Caller ID, Ringer volume control, a built in digital answer machine with a whopping 20 minute recording time. The answer machine can be accessed remotely and has a choice of 2 outgoing messages, you can of coures also record your own message. The unit has Hands free speakerphone and a extra large 3 line LCD display so its pleasing to the eye. The unit is also wall mountable.

I realize that corded 'phones are outmoded but it is just what I wanted for my desk at home and, when it arrived three days after ordering, I was not disappointed. The phone is good quality for what I'm wanting it for, (a corded phone if there's an electrical failure and all the cordless handsets are not working). The only down side is the picture shows a backlight and there is'nt one on this phone. So for everyday, regular use you may prefer a backlight. However I would still recommend this phone.

The telephone arrived in double quick time. Easy to install and luckily there is a 13A socket near the phone point to power it. The digital answer message is a bit lacking in quality, but as I don't expect to use that facility, there is no problem.
