Design

The design is one of the plus points about the BT Paragon 550. It looks great in all sorts of settings - from coffee tables to work desks. The caller display is clear and really easy to read. Also, when you use the phone, it feels well made, and its simple layout and style make it extremely easy to use.

Features & Quality

There are so many features worth noting on the BT Paragon 550. As mentioned, the phone feels and looks like a well-made, stylish addition to your home or office. Up to 100 names and numbers can be stored in the address book, and what I think is really useful - 30 incoming call numbers are stored too, so you can easily find the numbers of people who have got in touch with you recently. The secrecy and speaker options are also great, and once you have them you will wonder how you ever lived without!

Also, this model comes with a calculator, calendar and alarm which proves a very useful addition to have all in one place on your desktop. Especially in an office environment where things can go missing, I found it great to have a handy calculator that couldn't be borrowed by my work colleagues!

Overall the BT Paragon 500 is well made and has functions that work really well for both home and businesses. All you would expect from a BT phone is included, and a bit of smart shopping can see you pick up this model at an amazing price. A quick look on the internet shows how well this model has gone down with consumers - the only real complaint seemingly being a lack of variety in ring tones which we didn't see as a big issue during our testing.

Plus Points at a Glance

  • Hearing aid compatible
  • All the functions a home/small business needs
  • Remote access

Overall

The BT Paragon 550 is a reliable, stylish phone that gives your home or small business a tool so smart and useful you'll wonder how you lived without it!
