The BT Studio Plus 5500 is a compact DECT cordless phone that is great for in the home or in the workplace. It is a superb cordless phone that is ideal for anyone looking for a great looking model with a host of features at a cost effective price.
Built into the BT Studio Plus 5500 cordless telephone is a 50 entry name and number directory which is very handy for storing telephone numbers of contacts as well as friends and family. Other handy features included a handsfree speakerphone for group conversations, a Blue backlit LCD for easy viewing, built in alarm, digital answerphone and much more.

The BT studio pluss 5500 phones are brilliant, they arrived on time, so well packaged it took myself and our dog quite few minutes to get into the box, lovely clear instructions, now we're all charged up and ready to go. We've upgraded from an old system of having only 3 phones to now having 4 and I can't believe the difference it makes to us all, the range outside is fantastic too, I especially like the fact each handset can be put on speakerphone and the answering machine delivers only the messages not any background noise!Even mumblers sound clear, will definitely recommend your company to our friends and family

Ordered late Thursday night arrived Monday morning - although described as display were in perfect condition with set-up guide. Once charged (24 hrs) all 4 handsets easy to set up- work well but poor choice of ring tones but otherwise excellent and at a fraction of the rice elsewhere

CPW's service is 5-star. This product is 4-star, exactly as I expected and chose to accept from reading previous customer reviews. The blue screens are unhelpful to read, and it would be better if phone book entries could be transferred from one handset to the others instead of having to be entered in each individually. Beyond that, the product is very good: very practical, smart design (no silly modern 'styling' such as blights almost everything from cars to computers nowadays), and it works very well. Mine was a 'white box' set, but was absolutely as new - no indications of being 'secondhand' at all. I do recommend users to download the full instruction manual (50 pages) mentioned on the instruction leaflet, to get the best out of your set. Go ahead and buy from CPW with confidence.

The phones were easy on the eye and user-friendly, in general. The only thing is that, yes, they do transfer calls but you need to have an expensive pbx system in order to transfer the calls. I would prefer to see a bracketed note on the side of the description of 'transfer calls' to show (a pbx is required in order to transfer calls). This would then allow the potential buyer to truly know the reality of this phone system's capabilities and what is required to use it to it's full described usage.

The price was unbeatable and the goods very good indeed, however the delivery was let down as they went to the wrong house, but did not try to phone to ensure they got to the right place, if it was not for the tracker I may never have received the goods. On the tracker should be a contact number for them, as it was not easy to find the phone number for the delivery people
