The BT Studio Plus 5500 is a compact DECT cordless phone that is great for in the home or in the workplace. It is a superb cordless phone that is ideal for anyone looking for a great looking model with a host of features at a cost effective price.
Built into the BT Studio Plus 5500 cordless telephone is a 50 entry name and number directory which is very handy for storing telephone numbers of contacts as well as friends and family. Other handy features included a handsfree speakerphone for group conversations, a Blue backlit LCD for easy viewing, built in alarm, digital answerphone and much more.

Didnt have any problems registering my old bt studio 4500 handset to it.I bought these studio 5500, because i needed an answerphone and another phone for my husbands workshop (and to save my legs) by transfering calls instead of running to get him. Set up was straight forward. A bit time consuming as each number to be stored had to be entered separately in each 'phone. The ring tones are not very exciting but handset fits nicely in the hand and I am pleased with the purchase for an excellent price.

These phones arrived after 3 days and were absolutely perfect! Brand new, never been out of the box. I wanted something inexpensive, clear sound with answering machine and that's exactly what I got. Only downside are the ringtones (only 5 and they are pretty dismal) but other than that they are great. Easy to use and program - love em!

The telephones arrived in good time, and faster than the 4/5 working days we were told to expect. Although they are sold as 'display' stock they were packed as new. It was simple to put the system in place and although it is early days, they seem to be working very well. Two comments I would make of a negative nature:
1) The blue background on the screen does make reading the screen less than easy.
2) The instructions leaflet in the pack is produced in very small print and gray type which makes reading a struggle.
Overall, a very good buy at a very reasonable cost.

Excellent delivery service. Product 4 out of 5 Some unimportant discrepancies between instructions and product, e.g. Instrs say telephone line and batteries pre-installed which they were not. Rest of instructions superficial in parts and one is invited to consult a website for detailed instructions which is tedious and, for those without that ability - yes there are still some- impossible.
However three phones for £40 delivered can't be bad.

The phone arrived next day - unbelievably fast service.
The phone(s) are excellent, giving clear undistorted sound even though the base unit is very close to my Wi-Fi hub - absolutely no interference. Phones ring all over the house and at the far end of my garden (about 50m from the base unit and down a big slope). I live in an old, solidly built house and internal walls are not a problem.
The hand sets are comfortable in my hand and the buttons easy to press.
All in all thios is an amazing buy and great value for money.

Received in 4 days even though it was in the middle of all the snow chaos early December.
