Philips CD445 Duo Digital Cordless Phone Answer Machine - CD4452

 The combined phone and answer machine arrived without delay,well packaged, and in pristine condition....it was advertised as shop soiled but was indistinguishable from brand new. Before purchase,I raised a query with Cordless Phone World and this was answered without delay. The accompanying instructions were clear and concise and the set-up was very easy ..... I am very satisfied with both the price and service received. Thank you.

Box had been opened before indicating possible ex-display as expected. However contents packed as new and phones as new. Hardly any plastic in packaging - mostly recyclable paper and card.

Sound quality and wireless reception are excellent.

I have another Phillips phone SE435, similarly priced that accepts SIM card from mobile enabling you to transfer your phonebook from SIM to house phone.  The CD4452 seems a higher quality phone (audio wise) BUT NO SIM card facility.  However, all other features are similar.

Very simple set up of conference facility for multi-phone use, unlike some BT and Doro phones I've experienced.

Summary: Excellent buy for the money and good service.  Would recommend phones and this web-site.

The cordless phone looks very neat and and modern and is working great. The only problem I can find so far is that the while the blue background illumination on the keypad shows the keys up very well it makes the text on the screen a bit difficult to read, although this can be solved by turning the illumination off!

Overall though I am pleased with the phone and particularly so with your excellent service, thank you. "I'll be back!"

Was anxious about not buying brand new product but condition on arrival as new, though box was quite battered - unsure if this was due to transport to me or due to its previous life.

Phone is good and matches expectations. Weak points noted so far are screen contrast and awful selection of ring-tones - so bad that partner wanted it returned!

Have since bought an identical one for relations. Comments from them are as above.
